Moi-Même is the trading name of C Bourquin Services Ltd.

Throughout these Terms & Conditions, any reference to Moi-Même should be taken to include both the trading name, Moi-Même, and registered name, C Bourquin Services Ltd.
Subscriptions and Membership of Moi-Même
Moi-Même sends boxes to subscribers in January, April, July and October each year. The exact dates of dispatch will vary and may be later than anticipated due to unforeseen circumstances or delays. Once dispatched, we do not provide any guarantee of delivery date.
We use a number of different postal and courier services for both our UK and international subscribers and these are subject to change at any time. Not all services provide tracking information and so we are not always able to track your delivery.
Should your parcel arrive damaged or not arrive at all, we will endeavour to send a replacement; Should we no longer have sufficient stock to do this, we will seek to replace with a similar product of equal or higher value, or offer a full or partial refund depending on the extent of damage or loss.
Delivery is currently free for UK subscribers and costs £14.95 per box for international subscribers. These costs may be reviewed at any time.
The contents of each Moi-Même box are a surprise. Each box will contain at least five full size items. “Full size” refers to items that are not samples, miniatures, travel sizes or other smaller variations on a standard product; however, where products come in a variety of sizes but can all be classed as “full size”, we may include the smallest of these within the five full size items. Samples, miniatures, travel sizes etc. may also be included in addition to the five full size items but are not guaranteed.
The contents will be products that can be classified as, but are not limited to: beauty; stationery; jewellery; accessories; homeware. Products that can be classified differently may also be included.
Some products may come in different colour, size or other options and Moi-Même aims to tailor these to your preferences, as provided in the questionnaire you complete when subscribing. We cannot guarantee to select your exact preference on each occasion but will do our best to match products to what we feel you will most like, based on your answers.
Should you receive an item in your box that you would like to exchange for an alternative, the specific options will be explained to you in the booklet contained within your box.
Moi-Même charges £3.95 to exchange items within the UK and £5.95 to exchange items if you live outside of the UK. This fee is to cover our administration, postage and packaging fees and is subject to change at any time. We reserve the right to increase the fee for certain countries where postage costs are excessive or for large and/or heavy items. It is your responsibility to pay the postage fee for returning your original item to us.
Exchanges are not guaranteed and are subject to stock availability. Moi-Même will allocate stock on a “first come, first served” basis, once you have paid our exchange fee outlined above.
To guarantee that you receive our next box when you subscribe, you need to purchase your subscription by the following dates:
- To receive a January box, subscribe on or before 31 December.
- To receive an April box, subscribe on or before 31 March.
- To receive a July box, subscribe on or before 30 June.
- To receive an October box, subscribe on or before 30 September.
During each of our delivery months, that is, January, April, July and October, we endeavour to have further boxes available for purchase as a single box in our shop or to offer to new subscribers. As these boxes sell out very quickly, we make no guarantee that they will be available in our shop or if you subscribe after the dates above.
During the delivery month and the month after, we will automatically send you our latest edition if you subscribe during these months, as long as we have stock remaining. We will choose product options for you based on the answers to our questionnaire, although you are welcome to email us at [email protected] at the time of making the order if you have any specific requests. If you subscribe during the last month of a quarter, we will contact you prior to sending the latest edition, should we have stock remaining.
For example, if we send our Summer box to our existing subscribers on 16 July and you subscribe on 8 August, we will automatically send you the Summer box (subject to availability) and select the product options for you, unless you email us with a specific request. Should you subscribe on 1 September, however, we will contact you to confirm whether you wish to receive the Summer box (subject to availability) or wait until the Autumn edition in October.
Initial Payment and Renewals
When you subscribe to Moi-Même, your first payment will be taken immediately. The date of your next payment depends on the following:
Payment by credit/debit card:
If you have purchased a quarterly subscription and we send you our latest edition immediately, we will change your renewal date to the 1st of our next dispatch month. For example, if you subscribe on 18 July and we send our Summer edition, we will change your renewal date to 1 October in readiness for our Autumn edition.
If we do not send our latest edition, for example because it has sold out, your immediate payment will be for our next edition and your card will then be charged every 3 months from the date of your first payment. For example, if you subscribe on 18 July but our Summer box has sold out, your card will be charged immediately for our Autumn box and then again on 18 October for our January box, and so on.
If you have purchased an annual subscription and we send you our latest edition immediately, we will change your renewal date to the 1st of the month when your 5th box is due to be dispatched. For example, if you subscribe on 18 August 2018 and receive our Summer box as your first box, you will then receive our Autumn, Winter and Spring boxes and we will change your renewal date to 1 July 2019 in readiness for our Summer 2019 box.
If you have purchased an annual subscription and we do not send our latest edition, your card will be charged again on the anniversary of your first payment. For example, if you subscribe on 18 July, your card will be charged immediately as payment for our Autumn edition and then on 18 July the following and subsequent years, with 4 boxes received between each payment.
Payment by PayPal:
We are unable to change the dates of future renewals with PayPal and so the following will apply:
If you have purchased a quarterly subscription and we send you our latest edition immediately, we will give you the following options:
– Change your payment details to credit/debit card, allowing us to change your renewal date so that you receive your next box at the same time as everyone else. For example, if you subscribe on 20 May and receive our Spring edition as your first box, you would need to change your payment details to credit/debit card in order for us to change your next renewal date to 1 July.
– Remain with PayPal and receive your next box in 3 months time, which may be later than other subscribers. For example, if you subscribe on 20 May and receive our Spring edition as your first box, you will be charged again via PayPal on 20 August and so will need to wait until then to receive your Summer edition, sent to everyone else in mid-July.
If we do not send our latest edition, for example because it has sold out, your immediate payment will be for our next edition and your PayPal account will then be charged every 3 months from the date of your first payment. For example, if you subscribe on 18 July but our Summer box has sold out, your initial payment will be for our Autumn box and then your PayPal account will be charged again on 18 October for our January box, and so on.
If you have purchased an annual subscription and we send you our latest edition immediately the same situation will apply, i.e. you will need to change to credit/debit card to receive your 5th box on schedule, or wait until your anniversary to be charged via PayPal and then receive your 5th box.
For example, if you subscribe on 18 August 2018 and receive our Summer box as your first box, you will then receive our Autumn, Winter and Spring boxes. You will need to change your payment details to credit/debit card so we can change your renewal date to 1 July 2019 in readiness for our Summer 2019 box. Alternatively, you can remain with PayPal and receive your Summer 2019 box in late August, rather than July.
If you have purchased an annual subscription and we do not send our latest edition, your PayPal account will be charged again on the anniversary of your first payment. For example, if you subscribe on 18 July, your PayPal account will be charged immediately as payment for our Autumn edition and then on 18 July the following and subsequent years, with 4 boxes received between each payment.
You are welcome to cancel your subscription to Moi-Même at any time by logging into My Account.
You need to cancel 5 working days before a payment is due, otherwise you will continue to be charged for your next box. As an example, if you want to cancel after receiving January’s box and your next renewal date is 13 March, you need to do so by 6 March at the latest, otherwise you will be charged for the April box. In most circumstances we would be able to offer a refund for this renewal, as long as we receive the request before your next box is dispatched. We cannot guarantee this, however, so recommend adhering to the deadlines above.
If you want to cancel before receiving your first box, you are able to do so within 14 days of purchase, or before the end of the month before a box is sent out (whichever is the later date), as long as your box has not yet been dispatched.
Please note that if you subscribe and then cancel immediately we will assume that you still wish to receive a box. If you would like a refund then we will be happy to process this for you but you will need to email your request to us at [email protected]
If you purchase an annual subscription, you have 14 days after subscribing in which to cancel and request a refund, or until the end of the month before your first box is sent out (whichever is later), otherwise you will receive your 4 boxes for the year. You can still cancel after the 14 days or after your first box has been sent, but you will not receive a refund and will still receive your 4 boxes, but will not be charged again the following year.
Please note that if you subscribe and then cancel immediately, we will assume that you still want the 4 boxes. If you would like a refund then we will be happy to process this for you but you will need to email your request to us at [email protected].
Returns and Refunds
In addition to the refunds outlined above, we are also able to offer a return and refund once you have received a box, as follows:
If you do not like a particular item in one of our subscription boxes, you may be able to exchange this for the same item in a different colour/size/fragrance etc. as outlined above. The booklet that is included with each box will explain which particular items are available for exchange. We are unable to offer returns and refunds on individual items included within our boxes.
If you do not like your whole Moi-Même box, you can return this to us as long as all individual products are unopened and unused and suitable for resale. Please email us at [email protected] if you would like to do this. You will be responsible for the costs of return postage and will need to purchase proof of postage when arranging this. We will process a refund for you within 2 working days of receipt of the returned box, as long as the contents arrive in their original condition. Please note that refunds may take a few days to arrive in your PayPal or bank account.
Should you wish to receive a refund or replacement for an item that is damaged, please email us at [email protected] so we can endeavour to rectify this for you.
The Moi-Même shop is subject to the same terms and conditions as outlined in the rest of this section of our website, with the following exceptions:
If you wish to exchange or return an item purchased from our shop, you are able to do so within 28 days of receipt. Please email us at [email protected] to arrange this. The product(s) purchased needs to be returned to us unused and suitable for resale. You are responsible for the costs of your return postage but we do not charge an exchange fee if you wish to exchange for a different item.
Should you wish to receive a refund, this will be processed within 2 working days of receipt of the returned item(s), as long as it arrives unused and suitable for resale. Please note that refunds may take a few days to arrive in your PayPal or bank account.
Please note that if you purchase a one off box from our shop, this will be subject to the same terms and conditions as outlined in Exchanges and Returns and Refunds under ‘Subscriptions and Membership of Moi-Même’.
From time to time, we may experience errors with our stock management and inventory systems. This means that we may need to delay or cancel your purchase from the Moi-Même shop as we do not have the stock available. Should this happen, we will contact you using the email address linked to your order as soon as possible and arrange either later delivery of your purchase or a refund.
These terms and conditions govern your use of this website; by using this website, you accept these terms and conditions in full. If you disagree with these terms and conditions or any part of these terms and conditions, you must not use this website.

Unless otherwise stated, Moi-Même owns the intellectual property rights in the website and material on the website. Subject to the license below, all these intellectual property rights are reserved.
